Most questions about YesterKeep have the same answer: the app only ever sees what you have allowed it to see, and everything it collects stays on your iPhone. If something below does not solve it, write to us — a real person reads the mailbox.

We aim to reply within two working days. Telling us your iPhone model and iOS version usually saves a round trip.
YesterKeep builds your days from the photo library first. If Photos access was declined, or the library is empty, there is nothing for it to build from. Check Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos → YesterKeep and allow access to all photos. Then open YesterKeep, pull down on the Timeline to refresh, and give the import a moment to run.
The first import works backwards through your library and can take a while on a large one. Leave the app open on the Timeline while it runs. A progress line appears at the top for as long as there is work left.
Each of those is a separate permission, and each one is optional. Open Settings → Sources in YesterKeep to see what is connected and to add what is not. A day only shows what its sources could tell it.
On your iPhone. There is no YesterKeep account and no YesterKeep server. See the Privacy Policy for the full picture.
Settings → Export My Data. YesterKeep writes a JSON file and hands it to the share sheet, so you can save it to Files, mail it to yourself, or put it anywhere you like.
Settings → Delete All Data removes everything YesterKeep has stored, in one step. It does not touch your photos, calendar or health data — those belong to the apps they came from and are left untouched. Deleting the app removes its data too.
Yes. Turn on Settings → Privacy → Face ID to put the whole timeline behind Face ID or your passcode.
The first import reads your whole photo library and runs text recognition on screenshots. That is the heaviest thing YesterKeep ever does, and it only happens once. Keeping the iPhone on a charger helps it finish sooner.
Tell us which day and what you expected to see. Please do not send us photos or personal details — we do not need them to look into it, and we would rather not receive them.
Write to privacy@yesterkeep.com with enough detail to reproduce the issue. We will confirm receipt and keep you informed while we fix it.
